Meng Jianzhu, Chief of Political and Legal Affairs Commission, CPC, said, "The violent terrorist incident that happened in Beijing was an organised and planned act. It was instigated by the terrorist group, the East Turkestan Islamic Movement which is entrenched in central and west Asian regions."These screenshots were taken the same day, and show that a search for "East Turkestan Islamic Movement" (东伊运) on:
- Baidu's PostBar (Tieba 贴吧) forum returns no results, just a notice saying opening a forum on that topic is prohibited by law.
- Tencent's Weibo returns no results, just a censorship notice.
- Tencent's Soso, Yahoo.cn, Qihoo, and Sogou returns censored results.
