Meng Jianzhu Blames East Turkestan Movement for Tiananmen Car Crash, Most China Web Sites Censor Group's Name

On November 1, 2013, China's state run broadcaster CCTV published an article on its web site entitled "China's Senior Security Official Blames Militant East Turkestan Movement." Some excerpts:
Meng Jianzhu, Chief of Political and Legal Affairs Commission, CPC, said, "The violent terrorist incident that happened in Beijing was an organised and planned act. It was instigated by the terrorist group, the East Turkestan Islamic Movement which is entrenched in central and west Asian regions."
These screenshots were taken the same day, and show that a search for "East Turkestan Islamic Movement" (东伊运) on:
  • Baidu's PostBar (Tieba 贴吧) forum returns no results, just a notice saying opening a forum on that topic is prohibited by law.
  • Tencent's Weibo returns no results, just a censorship notice.
  • Tencent's Soso, Yahoo.cn, Qihoo, and Sogou returns censored results.

Baidu web search and Sina Weibo did not appear to be censoring searches for that term.
