The Civil Affairs Department of Zhejiang Province recently disclosed various data for the first quarter of 2023 on its official website. Among them, the number of cremated remains recorded in the funeral service column was 171,000, a year-on-year increase of 72.7%.

Judging from the total number of cremated remains in the years 2019 to 2021, the number of cremated remains in Zhejiang Province was 326,800, 326,000, and 337,000 respectively, with no significant change. On February 10, 2023, the Zhejiang Civil Affairs Department website announced the province's data for the fourth quarter of 2022, but the data on cremated remains was vacant, so the total for 2022 cannot be counted.
