Sina Weibo Censors "Cable TV Hacked"

At 8:50 pm on August 1, 2014, the following announcement appeared on the official Sina Weibo of the Wenzhou branch of China Cable (中广有线温州分公司):
At this time cable televisions in certain areas of Wenzhou are experiencing abnormal video reception. Currently technical personnel are rushing to make repairs. We appreciate our customers’ understanding.
These screenshots were taken on August 2, and show that Sina Weibo was censoring search results for “Cable TV Hacked” (有线电视被黑).


This screenshot shows that a Sina News story on the incident was deleted the same day it was posted.

These screenshots show several Baidu image search results for “Wenzhou Cable TV Hacked.”
